1397 Prime Sheep comprising of 1148 Lambs, 249 Ewes & Rams
97 Cattle comprising 74 Clean including 2 Young Bulls,
23 Cows/Overage Cattle.

At the fortnightly sale of Dairy, Calves & Store Cattle there were forward 431 head
of cattle comprising 332 Stores inc 15 Young Bulls,
6 Cows & 6 Calves,
2 Feeding Cows

Today we held our annual show & sale of calves our judge for the day was Mr A M Binns, Clint.
Champion in show was a British Blue Heifer exhibited by
Messrs P & RM Sutcliffe, Queensbury and was purchased by Mr J Brotherton.
The Reserve Champion was a Simmental Bull Calf exhibited by
Messrs IT & GE Lishman, Castley and purchased by the judge Mr Binns.
